I’m a mom and researching the potential dangers of having a plugged-in phone charger hanging around a child. I believe a child strangling on the wire is the number one hazard. For an unknown brand charger, if the phone is plugged in, can a child be hurt by placing the usb a/b/c/lighting etc head in their mouth? Does the head of the charger have the capacity to burn or shock a baby? I heard that a piece of jewelry coming in contact with the head has been known to cause burns as well.
