My GEM E2 is going into Tucson Golf Cars tomorrow for a motor rebuild. Wish me luck.
Bottom line update. I have had both knees replaced since Januarry 2023 and the E2 survived the motor rebuild. The estimate was south of $600, but final was just over $1200, with a new set of wheels and tires.
It is running good but is only good for a range of 10-15 miles before switching to turtle mode.
The AGM gel batteries are now three years old.
For a 2005 it is in good enough condition for a lithium and motor upgrade for some lucky buyer.
Someone make me an offer I can’t refuse, please.
