Looking to build a niche/weekend car. Exoskeleton car such the SLC Nemesis
but instead of the audi/VW drivetrain (normally the 2.0T and transaxle) doing an EV setup.
I’d add battery 'tray’s along the outboard side of the main chassis with their own self supporting structure, and then side fairings to cover them
regnerative breaking would be nice.
petrol ones weigh < 1200 pounds, so a light starting point for an EV car.
i’m familiar with ohms law and did some battery/motor calcs and shopping for a 2 wheeled project that never got off the ground, but beyond that, starting green.
