3.6v?
Turn on bms switches in app. Do you have power out from battery?
Turn on Charge and Discharge in Settings tab on bms app
Pass 123456
Iāve been messaging him, I think we got it handledā¦
Thank God, what a job.
Got it sorted
Thanks for all the replies
Iāve been using the new pack for a week or so
Changed the BMS settings opv-3.9, opvr-3.85, instead of installing the spoof at this time
BMS indicates 93% capacity
Reset the SOC on the dash, which seems wildly pessimistic now
Just back from a 20mile trip, BMS indicates 43% remaining, SOC 13%
Performance doesnāt suffer at the end like the LA pack
Pulls all the hills at 25 mph
Tires chirp if Iām not gentle at launch, I smelled smoke yesterday
Tnx for the update.
Even the bms soc% is a guess. The chart is real. Go by the chart until you learn how it relates to the guages.
Noise reduction
I mounted new pack on stacked up redwood fence boards, which came out to 1/8" above the frame rail the pack straddles
I was trying to avoid a sheet of plywood being a drum head, which the plexiglass under the LA batteries was
I also went from maximum PSI [44/60] in the tires to 25 PSI
Next is filling the gaps under the seat with sheets/blocks of foam to reduce the noise & grime intrusion
How much would trading up to a larger pack cost?
What modification would my car need?
I donāt have larger battery available. What year gem? 2013 e2?
@LithiumGods
Are you getting over 25 miles range? It may not be fully charging or discharging.
Talked to Scott. He thinks another battery will fit in your truck.
$2200 delivered for the 2nd one.
It would be best to have Scott set it up. I dont know what he would charge.
Ran 12 miles foot on the floor [25mph] to a doctors appointment, no warmth at all on the pack, motor/gearbox warm but not too hot to the touch, normal for a brushed DC motor.
Iām getting over 25 miles on a charge, not sure I need more
Just exploring the possibilities
Iāll reach out to Scott
