Zivan - Happy on the outside

Pfc does. Is it in the picture? Pfc would need to be a totaly new design.

I see it now. Prc battery type.
Unknown to me.

It’s the one in the picture.

Very clearly a PRC on label. Not pfc.

90v finish and no t3 curve. Which is degas or absorbtion depending on fla or gel. What battery besides lithium would have no final stage like that? 24s lifepo4 maybe?

Standard guts and model # I believe.

Rodney, you ever see one of these upgraded zivans before?

Never mind, I see now that the area if interest is not the AC input side but the DC output area…

The AC input area is known to overheat even when all is working well. IIRC new Zivans will have vent holes drilled in the outer case around that area to allow airflow to cool the area.

I had my plastic fuse holder melted and the AC input spade lugs were charred and the plastic overs melted.

After drilled a half dozen small holes in the cover in that area, replaced my fuse holder and cleaned the spade lugs(DeOxit) and it worked well for months until the fan stopped and all hell broke loose.
