Wetsounds Soundbar install

I definitely don’t have a break out splitter. I’ll see if my buddy has one.

I have not gotten. A chance to try the Break out amp Gauge. But I have gotten some time on the system. I’m pretty impressed with the stand alone battery and how it holds voltage.

The fire extinguisher suggestion is a good one. :fire: it will help before the FD arrives

Hey Folks: I am loving the tunes in the car. Been a long time since I had good music in the car.

That being said I wanted to see if I come up with a quickie El Cheep O system. I bought something this weekend and I’m gonna hook it up and do my own Side by side system. My full wet sounds system Vs the Quick & easy

Ok Folks: I wanted to report back On what I was doing. So I’m quite familiar with the JBL soundbars for Home Audio. I have like 7 of them. Almost every TV I have is paired with a JBL sound bar & sub. JBL has sound bar and sub combos from 200 to over 1000 watts. And all of them sound real good IMO. After doing my full wetsounds Sound bar & sub install I thought Humm I wonder how a JBL sound bar and sub would stack up against my $2000 dollar sound system. So I bought A JBL 2.1 300 total watt Deep bass sound bar. 100watt sound bar and 200 watt 6inc ported sub. Got for $70 on Market place. Threw it in the Gem for a Side by side Listen. The results might surprise you. I can say the wetsounds was better. But was it like $1800 better? I’ll break it down. If I was to have payed full retail for everything it would have been like $3k for my Wetsounds install. (That would have included the 12v battery & all the install goodies wire/distribution cables ect. No labor.

The JBL system would require just a 110 to 48v inverter. One of my thoughts was this. I have EGO 56v battery’s for my Lawn Equipment they sell a 400w inverter for $140 & I have the battery so my Electrical system upgrade would have cost $140 $70 for the Sound bar & sub. So for $210 you could have a Sound bar and sub system in your gem. And trust me it sounds GOOD! I don’t know what the long-term would be. If the vibration from driving would affect the sound bar that’s made for a home environment.. But it would definitely be an option if you were trying to do it on a budget
