Hi,
I was thinking about converting an old vespa from gas to electric, but I don’t have any sort of knowledge about what that would take. I’m sure there’s someplace online that explains the basic components needed for an electric engine, what they do, and what uses them, and I’m sure someone on this board can point me in that direction.
I was also wondering if you can salvage large electric motors, and what the downside is to larger motors… Are there junkyards for that sort of thing?
Actually, I probably have a million more questions before I decide if this is something I’m going to do, so I’ll wait for a response and do more research.
