I am looking at purchasing a used converted EV Ranger. The seller says that it has a blown transistor in the controller. So my questions are:
- What is entailed in repairing a blown transistor? What can cause the transistor to blow - is this a red flag for other problems?
- Is there a way to verify that the truck will work after the transistor is fixed - without fixing it?
- This will be my first electric vehicle - are there specific things I should look for or questiosn I should ask?
