I have a 2002 GEM E2 and will not be around to periodically charge the batteries this Winter. Can a trickle charger be used and if so where should it be connected. As an alternative, would it maintain charge if I leave it plugged in all Winter? Any advise would be appreciated. Big J
When I travel for a few months I put a timer on mine and charge it once a week for 12 hours. My batteries have been good after doing this for the last few years.
Thanks Jamieh. Anyone else have luck with a weekly charger?
Thanks Jamieh. Do use any particular timer? Would a simple 7 day mechanical charger work?
Has anyone else had luck using this technique?
