Spark Lithium conversion

Keep an eye on balance. May have to turn it on and set lcd to stay on longer.
Only balances when set to “on” and display is on.
I don’t balance during charge and discharge. Seems a waste.
Default balance is 10mv which is too tight for me. 20mv is plenty.

Set your fuel gauge in menu. I set from 3.5v to 4.1v.

If you plug in alarms, set levels where you want. I don’t bother.

Thought about sensing motor and controller temperature, but never got “a round tuit”.

This Spark Kit is amazing. Up the steepest hill I still have room onnthe gas pedal to “power up” example my normal speed up the hill is around 20 MPH at best. I have lots of room onnthe gas pedal. Smash down and another 5mph it’s amazing super happy thank you David’ this thing rocks

Thank you,
Another hardware hack, if I can find it, is padding the throttle pot.
Changes to a non linear pedal response. First 1/4 has reduced affect.

Watching for data.
This is 1/2 pack. 19/2=9.5kwh=40 Spark miles🤓
My test of 150w/mile give >50 miles in theory.
For longest life limit high and low volts. I only charge to 4 volts unless more range is needed. A button press on bms raises charge hvc.

My throttle feels fine not jerky or touchy feels normal to me no need to change anything. It zips up to 40mph in no time.

And now for the bad part.
Runs too fast. Need to slow it down.
Seems to be a problem with battery monitor or cable to the display.
T1 and T2 don’t like high voltage.

Bumping this for Ryan.
The Spark only needs 3 modules, but you get the idea.
