Any part number on the switch cover? I’ll need to take a closer look at the switch the next time I have the dash open to see if there are any additional markings that might help locate it.
Found this one that looks similar but just a wild guess. Doesn’t give any dimensions.

Yep, same problem with my E4…driving along and suddenly stops. Bottom line it was the ignition switch. Hint: don’t keep a bunch of keys on the key chain. The weight of the keys is not good for the ignition switch. The hardest part of replacing the switch is removing the dash. It is attached by 2 screws under the hood. Plus, when lifting it up and out it is held in place by velcro strips.
I changed out all other locks so one key does it all. Good Luck!
