Pedal or throttle sensor

I was going to send him a pedal unit from here. I might have an old one or I’ll make him one of my new ones.

What is throwing me off is that it appears FS1 is working fine. Pedal up/ start brings display to normal (0mph and no errors). Then pedal press goes straight to -11. Pedal up again, goes back to 0mph.

Yes, a mechanical pedal may fix, whatever it is.

The sensor I got is no good.

  • Pin 7 - 0v no matter what the throttle is at
  • Pin 3 - 4.6 no matter what the throttle is at
@Inwo , when you said you could “try an aftermarket sensor on my pedal,” what sensor is that, and where can I get one?
Perhaps it would also make sense for me to send you my sensor?
I’m definitely into doing whatever @Inwo and @AssyRequired suggest. Right now, I don’t even care if I have a working pedal; if I can plug a sensor in and turn it by hand and see the wheels turn without an error code I’d be happy.

Right, just not the right sensor for this. I’m not totally sure what you mean on why one sensor that works with a T4 may or may not work with mine but I trust you since you know your stuff and I don’t.

Is this what you mean I could try:
Cut the wire at pin 3 just above the 23-pin connector. Splice to a wire, run it to the cab to a switch, then run that to B- on the PSDM? Switch off for startup, flip it on prior to throttle?

I suppose you can try, but I don’t think it will work in this case.

The instance where I used this hack was for a -11 at KeyON and it would not clear.

Breaking the wire going to P3 for a moment cleared the -11 and connecting it right before going allowed the car to go.

In you case, the pedal is working properly when up and key on.
