Lithium acceleration fix

I may be the only one to experience this. 2008E4 is so quick, starting out from stop, and throttle pressure is so weak, that my lead foot bounces.
This make for a jerky start until learning to make very gentle throttle movements.

Padding the throttle pot from wiper to grd. changes the linearity of pot.
Slower change on the low end.

At first I thought that some integration of the pot signal was needed to slow response. Adding 10k across throttle seems to be the right direction.

If any interest, I’ll report back after testing.

Who am I trying to kid? I’ll be reporting even if no interest.

Dave my 2002 Blue car has this issue. I would be Intrested in a heavy duty or stiffer gas pedal

Try my way first. It changes the curve. First part of stroke has smaller effect.
I got side tracked again, but first try is a big improvement.
Put a 10k resistor from B- to wiper. Pins 7 to 8
A little too much maybe. Try 15K or 20K.
Higher makes smaller change.

7 ACCELERATOR INPUT VOLTAGE SIGNAL

8 ACCELERATOR NEGATIVE

9 ACCELERATOR POT +5 VOLTS SUPPLY (3 WIRE POT)

In a 2002 do it right at the pot.
I did it at controller.
