Interesting to see the LAPD stocking up on EVs - Tesla seems to be the vehicle of choice. Is this the start of a big move to EVs in the public sector?

They will save much more money on the gas expenses that they have to cover yearly.
Is this a sign of things to come?
As I know police in Japan and some of the EU countries was using hybrids like Toyota Prius for quite a while, is just the time for the new generation cars like Leaf or even Tesla.
I agree - this would also encourage the public to convert as they would see more EVs in their normal everyday life.
