The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has this week confirmed it is using a Vauxhall Ampera hybrid and initial feedback has been very encouraging. While there have been no commitments towards further adoption of electric vehicles it seems almost inevitable with governments looking to increase utilisation of more efficient transport technology in the public sector.
