This guy is claiming a 12 hp Nidec motor and 34 MPH top speed. Is this legit?
It has two part numbers: First listed is 7138, then GU3-4003

He said it was a GE motor that they rebuilt. Also, he said a shop looked at it and told him 12 HP, so I’m dealing with 3rd hand info, big time…
But I cannot find a thing online.

He says it feels like its governed at 34…
But also said he could only get to 31 with two people.
His story is starting to fall apart. But you know what, a 2014 with rims for $4200 isn’t bad. Has the Delta Q charger, too.
Maybe risk it?
I would get it at that price. You can do a motor, controller and charger for $2000 more or less so you should be ok in the end worst case. How are the batteries? Might be perfect candidate for lithium conversion?
