Not sure if located in the cupholder is that much better. Look at this crash test video at 25mph! The tank might be the least of your worries though.

Perhaps you have the propane heater that I have called a ( catalytic heater) confused with traditional propane heater. You posted a link of a guy using a traditional propane heater upside down that results in a flame thrower. Unfortunately my heater just shuts off when turned upside down so sorry that video has no Relevance but thanks for the attempting
I’m sure your a real safe guy thanks for the heads up. Some people should not walk and chew gum at the same time.

LOL that was more of a joke than anything. Like I said if you roll over or get in a serious crash the propane tank would be the least of your worries.
