My Think SerconDc/Dc 72 volt to 12 volt is dead with a hole blown in it. Part#622/11213 See photo

Am I best to just replace with the same make/model?
Any type of programing required?
Do all Thinks have 2 converters? Service Manual says 2nd one optional??

If you have 2 would it be best to replace both at the same time?

Actually, it looks like you have more going on than just your DC Converter.

What is that plug in the foreground? That thing is roached! The insulation looks like it is burned off. What is going on there?

I first thought it was your charger cord, but I also see a DQ in the back.
