I previously posted a question concerning error code -51. I got my answer and started looking into the problem. I found two battery wires coming from the contacter connections that were connected to a solenoid which in turn had a wire coming from the ignition switch. The solenoid was very hot to the touch, so I disconnected it. My question is that is this solenoid really supposed to be in the circuit? The reason I ask is that I have looked at different electrical parts for this unit, but no solenoid seems to be available or is indicated in the parts list. Please advise. THANXZZZ!!!
I not aware of any solenoid in the contactor circuit. Take a photograph of this solenoid and post here.
