Display on reads 40 even with full charge!

I have a 2002 ,825 that had fairly new 12 Volt Wet Batteries. The Battery are all show 11.5 Voltage or higher. The GE display is always now only reading at 40 Percent reguardless houw long my gen is plug in
And the charge components do not turn on (fan) while in a static charge. Key off position.

I have a new 72/12 Shurpower Converter.
Any Advice my friends.

11.5 VOLTS wold only show 40% charge each battery with an automotive charger and see what happens. a fully charged battery will be over 13 volts after charging. mine usually read 13.4 volts a few hours after being charged.

You have charger or battery problems. I t only takes 1 battery in the pack to cause low reading. check each cell with a hydrometer after charging.

I checked each Battery with a Voltage Meter .
