Delta q 912-7200

I connected the green wire from the delta q to negative side of system, got a big spark, and charger only blinks red 6 times, is this charger repairable?

Possibly. An internal fuse is blown.

That was a big no no.

Can this fuse be replaced, or is the charger garbage bound?

Yes, if you are comfortable soldering in a tight spot.
Take the side cover off where the wires exit. There is a pigtail fuse from the red to the green wire.

Thank you Inwo i will let you know how it goes.

I replaced mine a few months ago, it takes a ceramic fuse, 6x30mm, Fast Blow axial (pig tails) I ordered mine from Wiltonics, free shipping, came in a pkg of 5.
Very cheap and shipped fast from USA

how many amps???

I looked in 3 - 72v chargers,
15a
20a
30a
Take your pick. It seems 15 is on the small side for 12a charge rate.
Some have a separate fuse for the green interlock. Might have been for that as I didn’t research further.
A larger fuse will have less voltage drop. Better for sensing voltage.

They were 30A 250V

I never removed the bad one just piggy back the new on top and soldered the pig tails on.

Working great

30A 250V fuse, I didn’t remove the bad fuse, just piggy backed the new on top and soldered the two ends to old fuse. Pretty tight place and didn’t want to disturb any other parts.
Hope this helps.
