I wish all of the major manufacturers would get together and agree on a simple achitecture for batteries so that every electric car has the same type of battery. Then commission a couple of companies to make and devlop batteries.
If you haven’t already watched Tesla’s documentary about their cars check it out. Their battery is flat and forms the entire floor/chassis of the vehicle. And it can be replaced in [B]under 5 minutes[/B].
Imagine being able to drive to kwik fit and purchase the latest updated battery and drive out in under 10 mins.
Some one needs to bang the manufacturers heads together.
