Converting 2007 gem to gas power

Hello forum glad to be here.
I’m new here and willing to learn all I can about your projects and to share mine.
I have a2007 e2 that I have completely gutted of all the electrics as I’m converting my
Car to gas power
I’m done with electric cars
Has any one tried this ,I see a number of ways to achieve this
Mid mount engine with shaft drive and inline centrifical clutch
Front mount with 40 chain drive

Any thoughts out there will be appreciated

I have seen a couple for sale on ebay in the last year , all where rear wheel drive . they were almost giving them away at a low price . seems no one wanted them .

if I remember right they used motor cycle engines .
