You can gain an inch by cutting the lips under tape measure.
If anyone want’s a 21s Tesla in Ca. the train is leaving the station in about 3 hrs.
My measurements match @djgabriel2004
Top of trunk - Side to Side = 36"
Inside (shock to shock) = 34"
Front to Back at bottom of Battery Trunk - Smallest possible distance = 25"
Thanks everyone for the measurements! Looks like it will fit!
@Inwo
This one will fit in a classic - There is almost exactly 35" (I did not measure someone else did).
16" between the frame rails so no problem there.
I don’t know how may S’s this one is? It is from a post in this thread above.
Mike or Dave, do you know what kind of thread the Positive side has? I’m trying to avoid buying a Thread measure tool
Do you have a picture?
It is a M6 or M8
This is because my answer was not long enough
M8/1.25…

22s and it’s in a nice box with bms and lcd connected.
B- connects to black bms wires. B+ plugs into supplied red anderson pigtail. Peeking up in foreground.
Should take all of 15 minutes to install.
Sent you a message.

It’s on the way. You should have it later in the week.
Lol
Thanks!!
(Filling it up)
The middle bar needs to be removed right? (the one that has the seat lock)
I don’t understand?

Lol I was referring to the pre 2016 models, in order to put the battery under the seat there’s a black metal Bar in the middle that that cross the battery compartment opening. it also has the Seat lock. This bar should be removed in order to install Dave’s Battery, IMO (at least I did that when I installed the Bolt cells)
Well that would make it easier - I think the best way would be to remove the rear spat and just slide it in from the back. Done and Done.
cool thread
