2008 GEM 4 Windshield washer stopped working any info on repair or purchase
What have you tried?
Does it have power on the plug when you try to run it? (across the switched 12v and Chassis ground)
The 2008 GEM has a windshield washer? I have a 2008 GEM e4/825? but didn’t even know it has a washer.
First thing to do is check fuses, 2nd thing is to put a volt meter across the motor to see if it’s being powered by the switch, next is try chassis ground to both sides of the motor(just in case the ground on the motor is bad) and finally try disconnect the motor and then jumper 12V across the motor to see if it turns.
Windshield wiper is what I meant. I wish I had a washer. Need a new motor, I think.
That is different, but advice still stands.
Check Fuse F7.
Check wires at the wiper.
- Wh/Db should have Constant 12v. (park wire)
- Or/Wh is your run wire.
- Wiper motor is ChassGnd via support bar.
If power at wires, motor has good ground, and still no-go? → then rap on the motor with screwdriver handle to see if a brush is stuck.
