in another thread i was asking about batteries that was before i bought it. now that i have it. it has 9 8volt lead acid i think anyway they had used blocks of wood to hold batteries in place so that lead me to bleave that it came with 12volt ones when new? i have 12 volt gels in may other gem so i kinda wanted to go that way but what is wiring diagram for that. really all i need to do is keep connecting pos and neg till i get it hooked up right ?
Yep POS to NEG until the end. I had the same 8volt wood block mess. I admire the people that did it. It was a true puzzle. But it needed batteries and I just pulled it all out. Had to make a few battery hold-downs. I went with a flooded lead and a watering system. In my location, this gave me the most AH for the buck. You will find the fuse goes in the middle of the pack and not the end. The location of batteries depends on the year of production.
