Yes. They are actually way safer than we think them to be. Google’s self driving car had a good test season and it had a very low accident rate. Though they are not a 100% safe, they are already much safer than human drivers.
Not a chance. The world has too many people now.
Car fatalities are one of the items helping to keep the population in balance.
