There are some very popular hybrid cars available at the moment amidst a growing opinion that more people would perhaps feel confident driving a hybrid first and then moving on to an electric car. IMHO Hybrids will be the ultimate end game. Charge at home and take on 400 miles of energy at the pump in 5 minutes.

Yes. Use less fuel, emit less gases into the atmosphere and more efficient than gasoline cars.
