What controller s can I use for my Gem elxd.Mine was removed so I dont know what model. Also a T1 can it be used in what model years? How are T1 and T2 different?
2008 will most likely use a T4 controller. It is what you should be putting back in there.
T1 was used back ~2000(?) The T2 is the upgraded big brother and is often used when a T1 goes bad. A small wiring update is needed for the swap. The T2 was used 01~04. 2005 cars used a T3 controller and was only used for that year.
You an use T4 or T5.

Yeah, a t2 wont run a t4 car. But a t5 is suppose to be backwards compatible.
