Hey everybody. I just bought a 2002 Ford Think Neighbor that had brand new batteries installed and has the updated charger. After charging, the green light on the charger is appearing (meaning 100% charged as I understand it), but the charge icon on the odometer is only showing 2 bars (out of 5 or 6). Anyone have suggestions as to the potential cause and solution? Thanks!
Cluster gets it’s state of charge from the controller. Not uncommon for this function of the controller to fail. Mine shows a full charge always.
How long ago was the charger replaced? Describe what you mean by an “updated charger?” This loss of battery meter reading often occurs on the newer GEMs when the original charger is replaced. Is the range in miles affected as well?
