T2 controller Issues

Grant

Leave your fast settings where they are and set your turf settings for economy. Run in turf mode

Should give you 3+ more miles of range

Start here and we can go further based on results.

Rodney

#6 35 #11 105

In fast mode if your spinning you might want to set #3 to 20

Ok great I will adjust #6 and #11 should the car be in “turf” when making these changes and what does 6 and 11 effect

6 brings up acceleration in turf and reverse 11 should give you about 30 mph in turf

Do an audit of all your numbers and copy me on them.

Ok same question does the car need to be in turf mode when adjusting #6 and #11

No 1-15 pusha da button 16 - 30 Turf mode with cont 3 1 on up Fast mode with cont.

I changed my controller to the suggested settings and it didn’t seem to make a difference at best it was 6% better. Example my uses all route gets me home with 60% I got home with 66%

We can do more

I need to know all your numbers.

If I make or purchase a battery capacity meter, would there be interest on the forum in passing it around?

Have access to good load resistors. Like to find a use for them.

I’m thinking an overnight test <10amp would be small enough to mail easily.

David: how or what would your device do.

You would just connect to fully charged batteries over night.
The meter records the amp-hours.
Could of course build with a faster discharge, but it would be pretty heavy, and who’s in a hurry?

That is the only real test of battery capacity. Just like measuring how much gas is in your tank.

Any golf cart shop should have one.

I’m going to make a new one in any case. The one I have doesn’t do 72 volts.

One of my gems seems to have battery issues.

These should work.
7.2 amps will discharge 100ah in <14 hrs.

Pushing a little watt wise. Loaded to 85% @ 72 volts.
I’ll see if it needs a fan.

I’d definitely be interested - would it handle a LiFePO pack (~86V) as well?

Yes, meter should be in any day. Load resistors are picked out.

To be honest, I could sell load bank for $50 and the meters are < $50.

Not much more than shipping back and forth.
