Speedometer quit

Have a 2002 E4 that works great, however the speedometer worked and then started to work intermittently

Now is has quit, wondered what the fix is? Thanks

FIRST

You need to pull the sensor off first to make sure the magnet is still all in one piece.

If Magnet is toast you need to replace the motor bearing also. If the bearing goes bad it will get hot enough to melt the plastic magnet assembly.
