It seems that Tesla is currently losing over $4,000 per vehicle it sells - should EV fans be worried?
No but Tesla should. Tesla is supported by people buying stock at very high prices. When investors start to realize the viability of the enterprise is in question it will go the way of the Tucker.
The worrying thing is that it was making an operating profit a short while back but seems to have turned the other way. Elon Musk has also been talking about raising more finance which is a little concerning.
Tesla has led the EV industry higher, will these losses send the industry down? In my eyes a lot seems to depend on Tesla being successful.
