Relay for interconnect for new DeltaQ

Sorry for posting this but I think I read somewhere in this site that if you post 5 times you can see the links etc.

Sorry for posting this - 3 rd post

Trying to get to 5th post. Number 4. Apologies

And this should be the 5th

This is what my connection looks like.

Thank you.

I landed up removing and using the small 12V relay board from the old GEM-specific Delta charger and installing it in the new Delta charger (comes with space and mounting screws for the relay PCB) with some help from a few pointers from INWO. All works perfectly.

That’s great. Sorry for the late reply.

Did you take any photos of the board or wiring diagram? I have my original deltaQ also. That would be be great info to have if you documented any of it.

For anyone willing to go inside:
Find the 12v pins on the header, top of daughter board.
Connect to coil of a small 12v relay.
Works same as your 120vac solution.
When charger turns on, 12v supply for internal electronics come alive and pulls in relay.

Good practice calls for a snubbed diode across coil.
Should not be an issue with a small relay.

Did posting 5 times actually allow you to see the diagrams?

I am having trouble hooking up a Delta Q charger to a 2002 Gem.
I have been reading the forum and people have downloaded
Schematics but I can not see them.
I see if I down load 5 times I can but that doesn’t help me now
