RE: E825 troubleshoot fail-finned PWB

I believe I need a Motor Controller and it’s been suggested you could help.
GE 72V 350A CATALOG# IC36458H7R353T1 SERIAL# SH7R0045157P.

Can’t help with that. I’ll move message to open forum.

Send to FSIP for re-manufacture.

Thanks for the help. Great forum.

Drive and Power System Troubleshooting Chart A step 6…Yes to 72VDC at contactor
Yes to 72VDC at Motor Controller B+….They say, “replace the controller"
They say, “if the voltage is 0 or significantly lower than the voltage on the contactor, check the wire and the Motor Controller."
This doesn’t make sense.
What would the correct reading be on the Motor Controller B+?
I have pulled the Controller and am hesitating to send it to FSIP
Is there some other way to verify the Motor Controller is the problem or should I send it across the country to them?

They will do a diagnostic for a charge. Don’t know how much it is today though used to be 58 bucks about 6 years ago.

Outstanding. The form to send with the unit asks what the problem is with the controller. I don’t know. You have been a great help. I’ll ask for a diagnosis first and a rebuild if necessary.
