How much do you know about it? Is this a 72v car?

Hi David, do you have a Magic Magnet that will work with a 2002 Ford Think NEV with the 6HP motor?
I do, but it needs to be hard-wired. Different plug.
Ps.
I’m not sure it’s needed. Will your car run with sensor disconnected?

I haven’t tried running with the speed sensor disconnected.
The motor thermostat and the speed sensor are on the same plug.
I’ll unplug the sensor/thermostat plug and jumper the Thermostat back to the motor controller and see what happens.

Yes, will work perfectly to remove that 25mph speed limit. Standard settings will not limit until 40mph.
2007 speedometer can be set to read 0-40 corrected speed.
Great thx for reply, my son bought this Gem to tinker with so I’ll pass info on to him. We’d be happy with even low 30’s as then can safely drive on more local roads here in SW FL. Were waiting on front arm bushing delivery from NEV and installing front brake pads soon. If rides smooth & don’t need CV’s or ball joints then we’ll order magnet, what’s the latest price? thx again!
