This week we have seen the announcement of ambitious plans to build an electric vehicle with a range of 186 miles, costing less than $23,000 and all within 12 months. The design and make-up of the technology is slightly different to the traditional electric vehicle of today but it is interesting that the “open source” strategy will be put into use.
