I don’t own any electric car yet but I’m very interested. Since its a relatively new technology I would like to know what the problems are with the technology so far from others experiences with driving them.
The current offerings are proving to be very reliable modes of transportation. If you fit the parameters you will be very pleased owning one.

Are your interests in a production model EV? EV conversion? Neighborhood EV? Or, are you not sure? Would it be your primary, secondary, or only mode of transportation? I agree with Old Houseboater that most are proving to be reliable.

Range anxiety is always mentioned in the press but strangely those who drive EVs don’t suffer from this. The technology is moving at great speed and once we see major improvements in battery technology I think we will see greater uptake of EVs.
