So i just bought a new EV motorcycle :whoo: but it seems as if there is a problem. No matter what the level of charge is when the bike is standing still the meter reads full. If I go out on a ride thinking its full and then it dies like halfway there that would suck. Anyone know whats going on?
Is the “meter” a voltmeter or ammeter? Because if it is a voltmeter, and you are using LiFe batteries they only charge up to around 3.6V and are cut off at 2.8-3.0V. The ammount of life left in the battery is based on the amps left in them. That is why an ammeter is more useful in this case.
