my 2002 e2 with lithium is too light for these gem/polaris shocks.
my ride is rough and i need to see if there is an alternative for a 2 door, with lithium.
Let some air out of your tires then search the forum, there are a couple of threads on this issue with first model GEMs. At the end of the day unless you want to throw a bunch of money out for custom shocks I think the consensus is to sell and buy a newer model with improved suspension. I have the same setup as you I believe and my solution is to sit up straight and “post” like I am on a horse.
