"leaf" vs "prius" batteries

i would like to begin by thanking this forum for the help it is giving us EV newbies.

i have a '91 miata that i am trying to make into an EV. i live on a small island so i only need a 50 mile range and a 60 mph max speed. i have the opportunity to get either a “leaf” battery bank or a “prius” battery bank. which is the best option and why?

did you ever buy a set ? I just purchased a leaf set for my gem . curious if anyone else has used them .
