I see how to remove/install the outboards but how do I get the inboards out/in?
Man, these things are heavy!
Pull the outboard batteries out, then lift up the inboard batteries, rotate them 90* move them up and toward the outboard spot and pull them out. Install is reverse of removal.
Do I have to remove the hand brake bracket? I have put an outboard in/out but cannot remember exactly how I did it.
I’ve gotten three out so far and yes I did have to remove the hand brake bracket. This is not a job for the weak in mind, spirit or body!
Not much interest on this subject I see. Anyway, I also replaced the brake switch and that ended all of my code 11 problems. I can now drive without the constant interruptions of the past code 11’s.
