I believe that electric car battery packs only have a certain lifespan and was wondering when I would need to replace these? I am looking to buy an electric vehicle in the short to medium term.
An electric purchased today will probably be retired with its original battery pack still functional.
Battery technology has really made leaps in reliability in the last 6 years.
I think the industry suffers from bad communication with the public as I don’t think this good news is commonly known?
If your free replacement period start the day you purchase the battery, and expires at the end of the Replacement Period printed on your order Invoice, or when you sell your vehicle, whichever occurs first. When a battery is replaced during the “Free Replacement Period”, the warranty does not renew, it continues on from the original date of purchase.
