Hi,

I’m Al and I am new to this forum.

I’m an EV enthusiast and have been involved in some EV conversions.
I have an Electric Go Kart (now a dual motor electric go kart) which I use for R&D purposes and an Electric Scooter.

With my Electric Go Kart, I have used (and smoked up) modified starter motors as traction motors (yes, not the most ideal choice of motor) and have experimented with dual motor set ups (eg. parallel vs series connections). I blog about what I do so you can see what I get up to.

I have also test driven a variety of electric vehicles, both diy and factory jobs. And I like to check out other people’s Electric Vehicles.

I’m looking to share my experiences with others and also to learn from others.

First of all, welcome to the forum.

I read with interest your experience in electric vehicle conversions and would very much like to hear about them and see any pictures you may have? More and more people are now looking at their own electric vehicle conversions and any information or advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.
