Newbie on this electrical vehicle topics but have worked the last 30+ years with electric service and troubleshooting on production machinery for a Swedish truck company. So some basic skill is there.
3 years ago bought a cheap golf cart Club Car Ds with loading box at the back with not so good batteries.
Bought a 2005 Gem eS this summer, also with battery problem + some other issues.
Main interest is lithium conversion, I am a practical guy, it shall be working with a solid design but the last top notch finish is not so important.
