If you hava a GPS check and log performance and then change #4 and #21 to 255

check performance. Then add Magic Magnet. and check performance again.

I plan to do this later today so long as it I not pouring down rainā€¦

took the cart out on a full charge this evening with the stock programming, on flat ground GPS said 26mph. Coming down the hill I got up to 32mph

I cannot seem to write the new settings to the software for an unknown reason it tells me device mismatch unknown configuration even though I loaded the config and it reads just fine.

The other issue was coming back the cart was slowing down a bit and when I pulled in the batteries were down to 73.2v which seems really quick discharge for new 155ah batteries.

Looks like youā€™re running into the same problems Iā€™ve come up against. Have you tried the MM with the stock settings? and if so did it increase your speed?

Most I can get out of mine is 29mph with stock motor, but larger tires helped.

Thanks for your input.

As soon as I get the controller programmed I will know more that has been a challenge all in itā€™s own.

How are you communicating with controller?

I have the GE Sentry software

Are you using a USB to serial adapter, or does your computer have a serial port?

Some adapters wonā€™t work, Iā€™ve found.

Never mind. I see you have other problem.
Did you save the downloaded file?

I am using a high end converter however I am able to read error codes and the config which I have confirmed with the company that I purchased the software. He has been extremely helpful and gave me some things to try tonight when I get home.

If you use the MM without making any changes to the T 3, it will tell you if itā€™s working or not. When I tried it on mine I saw no changes, I then put it on my brother-in laws Club Car with early GE IQ motor and speed increased 5-6 mph putting a big smile on his face. If possible it would be nice to know if it works in your stock setting.

Greg

Should have your tachometer today.
Similar to this.
This should work on club car too, if you want to check RPMs.

Hope our luck changes.

Dave,

Got them this afternoon will give them a try in a few days have family in. Iā€™ll post an update.

On a side note to other members on the forum, have no reservations in dealing with Dave, he is a top notch gentleman who stands behind his products 100 percent without question and will work with you, if you might have an issue. Nice to see someone stand behind his products!

Greg

Do you get more speed with #4 set at a lower value say 200 or 175?

Rodney

Rodney,

Havenā€™t tried that yet, but will give it a shot later this week, also will hook-up the new MM with tach that Dave sent and get some RPM readings for you also.

well before I toasted the disconnect switch I was able to get 32mph on the slight downhill section of road with the MM installed. I am trying to figure out how I want to not replace the swith with something that will simply fail again for $80 so I can resume testing.

Piece of barb wire?

Since your in a hilly area strongly suggest you invest in an amp meter. 15 bucks invested can tell you a lot.

Rodney,

whats the highest amp draw you have measured in your cart ?
