Gem LSV wont move

have 72 + V at solenoid, but -0- at controller ? Solenoid checks ok… What am i missing ?

Need more information.
Year or controller type?
Charger?
B+ at controller is -0- ?
What about pin 1 and 2 ?
Solenoid won’t pull in if there is a charger interlock problem.
If DQ charger look for B+ on green wire.

GEM eS MODEL 2013 CHARGER IS DELTA Q NO POWER COMING TO CONTROLLER FROM SOLENOID…

The controller need B+ to pin 1 & 2 at a minimum to pull in solenoid.
Check for B+ on green wire from charger. That is what allows car to run. (interlock)
Any other faults should set an error code.

HAVE ERROR CODE 51…RE-SET MASTER SWITCH ( 15 MIN OFF-THEN ON ) STILL NOTHING…TROUBLE SHOOT GUIDE SAYS TO REPLACE CONTROLLER !!

Ge manual says low voltage in controller when key is turned on. Check control fuse.
Might also re-seat 23 pin plug and check for B+ on 1 & 2.
Pin 1 and or pin 2 need to precharge for contactor to pull in.
I think it’s to prevent full power from reaching controller if something is shorted.

…NOT SURE I UNDERSTAND…FLOW OF ELECTRICITY IS TO SOLENOID (CONTACTOR) PRIOR TO ACTIVATING CONTROLLER…HAVE NO POWER COMING FROM ONE SIDE OF CONTACTOR ( GOING TO CONTROLLER ) WOULD HAVE TO ASSUME THE CONTACTOR IS FAULTY, NO ? TROUBLESHOOTING SAYS JUST PUT NEW CONTROLLER…$$$

Contactor does NOT pull in, correct?
The controller connects the coil to B- to pull it in.
The other side of coil is B+.
If you measure +72v on both sides of coil. Controller is not telling contactor it’s safe to pull in.
The most basic condition needed is main --> B- and +72v on pin 1 and 2.
May very well be the controller.
