GEM BEARING PULLER
The DIY’er planning to do work on his GEM vehicle should consider investing in this combination puller from HARBOR FREIGHT. Its original purpose is for pulling pulleys off power steering pump shafts.
It works on GEM motor and input shaft bearings, It is configurable for large and small size bearing by removing the thumb screws and switching the pull bars to alternate sides of the screw block.
The only modification for GEM use is the need to grind the bottom off the pull bars to about 1/8 inch thickness.
