Hello my name is jason and just getting started in the world of electric motorcycles and was wondering why no one is using the transmission with the electric motorcycle, again I’m new and wanting to learn

typically it just adds weight, no need for the gearing when you usually only need one sproket (enough torque to get you going from a stand still) and you’d need to make an addapter plate to mate up with the transmission as well (costly and difficult to do with out the right machines/tools)
Wouldnt the top end improve and reduce the motor strain and increase the total miles available on the battery charge?
