I am currently working on a research project and we are trying to solve future urban problems (especially increasing traffic congestion) with innovative ideas.
If you think ahead, let’s say 2050, fossil fuel-driven cars will probably totally be replaced by electric vehicles (or even more futuristic and new vehicles). At that time, we have also probably reached an age of perfect information sharing (cars talk to cars and in general the whole system, meaning all traffic participants, share real-time data).
Apart from the electrification of cars, can you think of any solutions on how cars and public transport can be interlinked? How can future vehicles look like considering that there is very limited space in cities? If you have already done some thinking on that, I’d be glad if you could help me!
